Ron Travis, along with his partner David Coupland, opened RE/MAX Gulfstream Realty in 1992. Ron Travis and Dave Coupland received the RE/MAX International Broker/Owner of the Year award in 2008. In 1995 they were awarded the Broker/Owners of the year for the Florida RE/MAX Region and were given the honor again in 2005. They were also recognized by the RE/MAX Florida region in 1996 with the Hustle Award for company growth, with the Eagle Award in 2002 and the Premier Community Citizenship Award in 2003 for their company’s outstanding fundraising efforts on behalf of the Children's Miracle Network after raising over $100,000 for the children’s charity.
In January, 2008, RE/MAX Gulfstream Realty merged with RE/MAX Properties owned by Tim and Judy Crowley to form RE/MAX Alliance Group. With 6 offices and 300 agents, RE/MAX Alliance Group is the largest RE/MAX office in the state of Florida. Ron, as broker/partner, is on the Board of Directors of RE/MAX Alliance Group with Peter Crowley as president of the newly formed organization.
